Instructions

Read ISAT-2012 Brochure before applying.

The application procedure requires a valid email id. Please keep the email id live and secure till the end of the admission process.

For printing Challan form, Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 9.0 or above) is required. If your system doesn't have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, please download and install it from http://get.adobe.com/reader before starting the online registration process.

Steps involved in applying for ISAT-2012

The following 6 Steps are involved in the submission of application for ISAT-2012.

STEP 1:

Click on ONLINE REGISTRATION link available at the bottom of this page. This takes you to an Online Application Form for submitting preliminary details.

STEP 2:

In the next screen, enter your Detailed Information.
It is mandatory to choose any of the three designated banks (State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank or Union Bank of India ) for examination fee remittance.
For NRI Candidates: Choose ' Other ' option for examination fee remittance.

STEP 3:

In this step, Confirm Application Details if all the details entered by you are correct. [You may make any correction by visiting the previous screens.]

STEP 4:

Finally, Submit your application form to get your Registration Number.
Download and Print (A4 size paper) a copy of Challan form. [You can also download your challan later by clicking on DOWNLOAD CHALLAN / NRI PAYMENT FORM link available at the bottom of this page.]
Now, remit examination fee in any branch of the chosen bank.

For NRI Candidates: Download and Print the NRI Payment Form. Remit examination fee through a Demand Draft drawn in favour ofTHE REGISTRAR, IIST payable at THIRUVANANTHAPURAM taken from any bank outside India.

STEP 5:

Enter the Bank Transaction Details by clicking on PAYMENT DETAILS ENTRY link available at the bottom of this page.

STEP 6:

Scan and upload the Institute's Copy of challan by logging onto the website (www.iist.ac.in/isat2012) using CANDIDATE LOGIN link.

Send Institute's Copy of challan counter-signed by bank through Speed Post to : The Chairman, ISAT-2012, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiamala P.O., Thiruvananthapuram - 695 547, Kerala in an envelope with your ISAT-2012 Registration number and Name at the top.

For NRI Candidates: It is mandatory to send Demand Draft along with Institute's Copy of NRI Payment Form. Register Number andName of the candidate must be written on the back side of the Demand Draft.
