MAT 2012 Description
Management Aptitude Test 2012 is an aptitude test MAT 2012 is conducted by Centre for Management Services, which is a specialized division of AIMA (All India Management Association). MAT 2012 is usually conducted 4 times in a year in January, May, September and December. Every year it is taken by MBA aspirants in India, as a good score in MAT 2012 is likely to put the candidate in a reputed and AICTE approved management institutions. Presently, MAT 2012 has even got the status of a National Entrance Test by the Ministry of HRD (Government of India, letter no. F.17-20/2003-TS.I dated 23 November 2004). Besides having test centers all over India, MAT 2012 is also conducted in overseas location.

Applications in the prescribed format are called for from candidates for the posts of
Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants / PA (CO) in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200 – 20,200/-
with the Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.
2. The age limit of the SC applicants will be 18 to 30 years & OBC candidates will be 18
to 28 years as on 11.01.2012 after relaxation as per GOI rules.
3. The minimum educational qualification is Higher Secondary or equivalent.
4. Prospectus containing eligibility conditions, recruitment procedure, prescribed
application form and instructions thereof can be obtained from the selected Post
Offices as per list (Annexure-II), on payment of Rs. 25/- by cash at the concerned
post office counter.
5. Name of the recruiting units as well as designation and address of the Recruiting
authority to whom the application are to be addressed is furnished hereunder in
Annexure – I showing inter – alia the number of vacancies in respect of each
recruiting unit.
6. Application duly completed along with attested copies of the certificates should be
submitted to the officer concerned on or before 11.01.2012 by Registered Post
or Speed Post. Applications sent by other means will not be considered.
Applications received after the due date will be rejected straight way and no
correspondence will be entertained.
7. The cover containing the application should be superscribed in block letters as
