NOTICE In pursuance of judgement of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case No. 2005-(6) SCC 537 of PA Inamdar Vs State of Maharashtra & directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in C.A. No. 4060/2009 dated 26.03.2010 and I.A No. 50/2011 dated 27.01.2011 the APDMC is conducting “All India Common Entrance Test for admission to Medical, Dental, BPT, BOT, B. Sc. Nursing and Other Allied Paramedical Courses for the academic Session 2011-12. Application Forms and Information Brochure of DMAT-2011 are available at all the participating Colleges and APDMC Office on payment of Rs. 750/- by cash or through DD drawn in favour of APDMC, Bhopal. Maulana Azad National Fellowship For Minority Students

INTRODUCTION The objective of the Fellowship is to provide integrated five year fellowships in the form of financial assistance to students from minority communities, as notified by the Central Government to pursue higher studies such as M. Phil and Ph.D. The Fellowship will cover all Universities/Institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and section 3 of the UGC Act alongwith those which are not under the purview of UGC and will be implemented by the Ministry of Minority Affairs through UGC for students belonging to the minority communities. The fellowship under Maulana Azad National Fellowship for minority students will be on the pattern of UGC Fellowships awarded to research students pursuing regular and full time M. Central Teacher Eligibility Test

"Central Teacher Eligibility Test Rules, 2011"(CTET).

APPLICABILITY

i). The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
ii). CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
iii). Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

Frequency of conduct of CTET and validity period of CTET certificate:

The CTET is presently being conducted annually. The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years for all categories.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

ELIGIBILITY

The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET:-

Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent) ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002 ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4–year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*

Note:
i). Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/ Differently abled Candidates.
ii). For this year only, a candidate with BA/B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and B.Ed qualification shall also be eligible for test for classes I to V, provided he/she undergoes, after appointment, an NCTE recognized 6–month special program in Elementary Education.

Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII:

* A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
